LETTER CARRIERS

Do NOT, at any time, for any reason, alter or falsify a

time-clock ring for anyone.

What you did is what you did! If you make a mistake, that’s different. Mistakes are just that – mistakes. Deliberate wrongdoings ... falsification ... deception ... etc are fire-able offenses ... and you will be fired!

NO EXCEPTIONS!

I warn you, I tell you ahead of time, you will be fired! Do not under any circumstances be a party to such dishonesty.

If a supervisor tells you to do something that doesn’t appear to be right or is different than what you did, question that supervisor of why he or she is telling you to do something that doesn’t seem to be right.

If the supervisor tells you again or instructs you to do what you have questioned, follow the directive and immediately ask to see a shop steward or union official.

If you are denied a union representative, you make sure that you see a union official as soon as possible whether you are on the clock or off the clock. You make sure that you contact a union official the same day that the incident took place.

At very least, you make sure that I am aware of the situation and what transpired. You contact me no matter how inconvenient it may be for you.
