A Message from Your President

I have been representing letter carriers for approximately thirty years. I have dedicated the majority of my life to the Union ... and to serving letter carriers.

What I do comes from the heart. This is what I truly believe in. I have done my best with what I have been given ... and I will continue to do my best.

As much as I have tried to convince our membership that we are facing very difficult times, our members are still reluctant to contribute a few dollars a pay period to COLCPE – our political voice in Congress.

We are in deep trouble and if we don’t get involved in legislation, if we don’t reach into our pockets and contribute to COLCPE, the pay raises, the benefits and, the guarantees that we now have may one day be wiped out with the stroke of the pen.

The pennies that we save will cost us dollars if we don’t wise up and contribute to COLCPE.

Politicians understand VOTES and MONEY – plain and simple.

This is what get’s politicians elected to office ... and this is what keeps them in office.

Don’t be foolish. Heed my advice and contribute to COLCPE

If we give as little as $5 a pay period; that’s $2.50 per week ($130 a year); we can have a voice, a say in our future, and make a difference.

I have not steered you wrong and I am not steering you wrong now.
