CITY LETTER CARRIERS

As I told you, I am reasonably certain that the Postal Service will be using the data from November – this month – to adjust assignments under the MIARAP process.

I have done everything humanely possible to advise you of what you are suppose to be doing, how to prepare for these next round of adjustments, etc. Hopefully, you listened to me.

Every route that has been adjusted must have a representative 3999 for the route.

My suggestion to you, and as a right of entitlement, I ask that you request from management a completed copy or your 3999 and that you thoroughly review that 3999.

I ask that you question management if there are any deductions ... and what they are for; and to discuss any discrepancies that you found with the supervisor that conducted the 3999 evaluation.

If there are any discrepancies that remain afterwards or there is something that you are not comfortable with, ask to see a shop steward.

We cannot allow what happened in the past to happen again and we must prepare ourselves to have routes adjusted again; the possibility of routes being abolished, and that routes may go up for bid under 41.30.
