Toms River Labor/Management Meeting
Agenda Items
As of this notification, there is no labor/management meeting scheduled for the
Toms River Post Office. However , one will be scheduled shortly.
Prior to this notice, I had posted a notification on the Toms River NALC Union Bulletin Board soliciting agenda items and input from the membership. I would like to prepare and submit an agenda to management prior to the meeting.
I would like to discuss whatever issues or concerns that you or our union officials may have.
I know that we address issues and carrier concerns on a daily basis, and for the most part, I am accessible to every letter carrier each and every day. We are fortunate to have our Union President – yours truly - domiciled in Toms River, where issues can be addressed at the moment they arise and don’t have to be scheduled for a meeting or face some of the difficulties that arise in our associate offices.
Much of our success can be attributed to the time that we have to take care of union business, our good relationship that we have with management, and the knowledge and ability that our officers have.
Don’t be naieve or let anyone fool you, we are a successful union by any measurement standard.
But even with that success and accessibility, issues arise that we are not aware of, or you may think we are aware of, that need to be addressed or our attention.. We are good, but we can’t read minds.
I ask that you don’t sit idle. You have a voice; use it.
I ask that you get involved and let your thoughts and concerns be known.
If there are any issues or concerns that you would like addressed, please let
Vice–President Al Manzo, Shop Stewards John Mezzetti and Rich Scholl, or I know.
The minutes of this meeting will be posted on the union bulletin board and on our website.
Joseph R. Palmerson, President
NALC Branch 2128 Toms River
